Walker Road Range Expansion Project
The Walker Road Range Expansion has been completed and approved by the NB CFO! Thanks to our volunteers and sponsors who made this project possible.
It includes the addition of the following:

A range officer must be appointed when there are multiple shooters. A flag has been added to the firing line to allow control of the line in order to keep everyone safe when changing targets. Reach out if you have any questions!
The new gate has been installed with new signage.
This expansion will help us to better serve our community and we are so excited with the way it turned out. Thank you for supporting our Sackville Rod and Gun Club!

It includes the addition of the following:
- New 50m shooting lane, approved for rifle and shotguns with slugs.
- New 25m shooting lane, approved for rifle, pistols, and shotguns with slugs. NEW for this lane is that we are approved to shoot stationary targets to pattern your shotgun with birdshot. This will help those who are lucky enough to get their turkey hunting license. Please be responsible and conscious of wood prices. We would recommend that you bring some cardboard to pattern your shotgun and don't shoot off our posts.
- Each new lane is approximately 16 meters wide and has a properly designed and approved earth backstop
- Shooting shelters on each lane at the firing line with covered roof to give shooters a covered and steady bench rest and to protect against the elements.
- A new bow lane (approximately 35 yards) with an earth backstop has been built behind the range. This is bow and crossbow only with proper signage to indicate such.
- Expansion of parking area.
- A new gate has been installed with new signage
- A 16m trap area (range 4) has been approved for clay bird shooting. We will mostly use this for organized shoots. Operating this will close ALL other lanes. If you choose to use this please be respectful for those who may show up for rifle/pistol shooting.
